IS GOD ANGRY?   IS GOD JEALOUS?
Powerful Storms, Earthquakes & Other Disasters Prophesied!

“God is love.” (I John 4:8). “God is a consuming fire.” (Heb. 12:29). “Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God” (Rom. 11:22).
“The LORD was not in the wind” (I Kng. 19:11,12). Nevertheless, “the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm” (Nahum 1:2,3).

“God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.” (Psalms 7:11)
“The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. The face of the LORD is against them that do evil” (Psalms 34:15,16)
“God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies. The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm (Nahum 1:2,3)
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” (Galatians 6:7,8)
“Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.” (Hosea 10:12,13)
“Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.” (Job 4:8)
“For they have sown the wind [every wind of doctrine (Eph. 4:14], and they shall reap the whirlwind [a grievous whirlwind—the whirlwind of the LORD (Jer. 23:19; 30:23]:” (Hosea 8:7)
“Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: (Ezekiel 33:11)
“Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God... the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment.... The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us–ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (II Peter 3:3-9)
“It may be they will present their supplication before the LORD, and will return every one from his evil way: for great is the anger and the fury that the LORD hath pronounced against this people.” (Jeremiah 36:7)
“As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. Therefore hath the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.” (Daniel 9:13,14)
“There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:1-5). [“Or those thousands, upon whom the twin towers in New York city fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in America? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish!”]

HURRICANES KATRINA & RITA!

After peaking in strength at 175 mph steady winds (cat. 5 on 8/28/2005), Hurricane Katrina made landfall in Louisiana at 6:10am CDT on August 29, 2005 as a category 4 storm with 145 mph sustained winds with higher gusts. A few hours later, it made a second Gulf Coast landfall near the Louisiana-Mississippi border with 125 mph category 3 sustained winds. The storm was so large with extremely damaging winds and record storm surges that it smashed the entire Mississippi Gulf Coast. A 10 to 30 foot storm surge came ashore on over 200 continuous miles of coastline, from southeast Louisiana, to Mississippi and Alabama, to the Florida panhandle. The 30 foot storm surge recorded at Biloxi, Mississippi is the highest ever observed in America. After 11:00am CDT, several sections of the levee system in New Orleans collapsed. Most of the city was subsequently flooded. As Katrina moved inland over Mississippi, it cut a swath of damage that affected almost the entire state. With over a million people displaced by the storm, the official death toll is 1,500 (as of May 20th, 2006 the unofficial death toll topped 1,600; the exact death toll may never be known as the number of homeless people was unknown when the storm struck) and the damage is $81 billion (possibly as high as $200 billion), topping Hurricane Andrew as the most expensive natural disaster in U.S. history. This and other major damage to the coastal regions of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama has made Katrina the most destructive and costliest natural disaster in the history of the United States.

After peaking in strength at 175 mph steady winds (cat. 5 on 9/21/2005), Hurricane Rita made landfall on the Texas-Louisiana border as a category 3 storm at 2:38am CDT on September 24, 2005, with 120 mph sustained winds with higher gusts. Hurricane Rita has broken multiple records, being the earliest 17th named storm, the quickest drop of barometric pressure in one hour, the third most intense hurricane on record in the Atlantic basin and the most intense hurricane on record in the Gulf of Mexico, the latter a record set by Hurricane Katrina just three weeks earlier!

The 2005 hurricane season was the worse overall hurricane season ever recorded, setting records for the highest number of named storms (27) in a single season and the most intense storm (Wilma). This is the first hurricane season, Atlantic or Pacific, to exhaust its list of names and resort to Greek letters for naming. With Hurricane Wilma, 2005 became the first year on record to have three category 5 storms in the Atlantic basin. Wilma struck Mexico and Cuba before making landfall in Florida on October 24. At least 60 deaths were reported, and damages estimated at between $18-22 billion. Peaking in strength at between 175 and 185 mph steady winds (cat. 5 on 10/19/2005), Hurricane Wilma was the most intense hurricane ever recorded. Undergoing rapid intensification on October 19, the eye's diameter shrank to as small as 1.5 to 2.0 nautical miles - one of the smallest eyes ever seen in a tropical cyclone (hurricane). The storm measured a barometric pressure of 882 mbar, the lowest pressure ever recorded in the Atlantic basin.

Jesus' Prophecies Concerning The Last Days!

1 ¶ And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 ¶ And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 ¶ Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 24:1-51)

“Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:
But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.”
(Jeremiah 9:23,24)

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us–ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (II Peter 3:9)
